About me
As a licensed professional counselor and former special educator with over twenty years of experience, I have dedicated my life’s work to empowering every member of the family network. Partnering with those who struggle with overwhelming, uncontrollable thoughts and feelings and the complex traumas they may be rooted in is an opportunity for me to provide authentic support and renewal in a nonjudgmental environment.
I am very client-centered in my approach. I listen to my clients and empathize with their experiences, believing that despite their apparent hopelessness, they have the tools to heal and grow. I come alongside my clients and facilitate that healing with evidence-based therapies, encouraging them to be present while becoming their best possible selves.
My practice is unique because I match clients' needs to evidence-based interventions using talk therapy alternatives, such as play-based therapy, Fiber Arts, Drawing and Painting, and Lego therapy. Families and individuals can find the healing and calm they seek across multiple modalities.
