About me
I am dedicated to helping clients attain a greater sense of well-being and enjoy more satisfying relationships to themselves and others through healing and self-discovery.
I approach counseling as a collaborative relationship to raise self-awareness, increase self-compassion, and develop skillful interpersonal communications. I believe that by resolving past trauma clients may find relief from unhelpful emotional and relational patterns and find more ease and harmony in their own lives.
My work with clients is a blend of therapeutic styles that is tailored to the needs of the individual. I work with adolescents from age 14 years, and with adults. I specialize in treating individuals impacted by childhood, generational or other trauma and the resultant emotional difficulties, and in treating the special issues facing those in adolescence.
I have had advanced training/certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as mindfulness, non-violent (or compassionate) communication, and a variety of approaches that are proven to support healing and increase wellbeing.
All of my sessions are conducted online via HIPPA-compliant Telehealth. I have offices hours Tuesdays through Fridays, scheduling morning, afternoon and early evening times.
