About me
If your child or teen is feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or caught in cycles that disrupt their relationships, please know you are not alone. As a doctoral-level MFT, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating the complexities of ADHD, AuDHD, and ASD. I am particularly passionate about serving families who feel their unique experiences have been overlooked by traditional support systems.
My approach is deeply neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. Whether I am working with a young child through Synergetic Play Therapy or helping a neurodiverse couple find a shared language, my goal is to provide a secure space for regulation and insight. By integrating advanced trauma-processing tools like Brainspotting and EMDR with the Gottman Method, I help families move beyond "stuck" patterns toward lasting connection and resilience.
As a parent, military spouse of 20 years, and former educator, I have a deep, firsthand understanding of how life’s transitions and chronic stress shape children, adults, and the relationships that hold them. Now, as a doctoral-level Marriage and Family Therapist and Play Therapist, I blend that lived experience with advanced clinical training to offer a warm, neurodiversity-affirming, and collaborative space. My goal is to foster curiosity, deeper understanding, and lasting resilience within your family system.
My practice is grounded in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Synergetic Play Therapy (SPT). Whether we are utilizing the Gottman Method for couples or Brainspotting (BSP) and EMDR for trauma processing, my approach is always person-centered and trauma-informed. I specialize in tailoring nervous system regulation and attachment healing to meet the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals and those navigating complex trauma.
