About me

I am a counselor-in-training who approaches therapy as a collaborative process centered on growth, self-awareness, and practical change.

I work with individuals facing a variety of mental health and life challenges, some including anxiety, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and unhelpful patterns of thinking or behavior. Using a collaborative approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping skills and more balanced ways of thinking. Alongside my academic training, I spent two years working as a case manager in a mental health and addiction rehabilitation center, where I supported individuals navigating substance use, mental health challenges, and major life transitions. Having experience of family members struggle with addiction, I have seen the impact of addiction and mental health and its effects to the individual as well as those closest to them. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment focused on growth, self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships.

Reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you are used to handling things on your own. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, struggling in relationships, navigating life transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making meaningful change.

Outside of work and school, you can catch me rooting for my favorite sports teams with my friends and family. I am an avid Arkansas Razorback fan as well as anything Dallas (Stars, Mavericks, Rangers, and Cowboys). I also enjoy spoiling my 5-year-old Boston Terrier, Sunny, or catching a workout class in my free time.
