About me
I am an experienced marriage and family therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, depression, communication, conflict resolution, connection, intimacy, family and peer relationships, sense of self and identity, self-esteem, and self-compassion.
You found me, welcome!! It’s amazing that you’re taking the first step to improving your life or returning to continue your growth. This is often challenging, scary, and uncomfortable, but as your therapist I will ensure your experience is seamless while providing an open, compassionate space to explore the challenges you are facing whether that’s constant anxiety and overthinking, self-criticism and negative self-talk, communication and conflict difficulties in your relationship, or family disconnection and old wounds that need healing. The very fact that you’re here, seeking help, shows just how much strength and courage you already have, let’s increase that light within you together. I’m prepared to stand by you and support you every step of the way on this journey with experienced, professional care.
My name is Megan Hoback, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with many years of experience serving a wide variety of people and topics. Our therapeutic journey together starts by clearly and collaboratively identifying your goals for therapy and understanding the challenges you are facing. From there, we will move forward on the path of meaningful change and long-lasting growth. I take a solution focused, strengths based, client-centered approach to help guide you through the process with expertise and care to ensure you're equipped to make lasting changes in your life.
I tailor each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the client, drawing from a blend of modalities including Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and somatic techniques. For couples, I also incorporate techniques and tools from the Gottman Method.
I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and parent-child relationships in discovering purpose, balance, and joy within themselves and their relationships. I am committed to providing a safe and affirming space for all clients, including the LGBTQIA+ community. Ready to take the next steps towards solving your challenges in therapy?
