About me
I am an experienced mental health counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals cope with their mental health struggles, identify their personal strengths, and navigate their life path.
I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. During my Masters program I also specialized in Addictions and Military Families and Culture. I am a military spouse, which has provided me the opportunity to work across the country in a variety of settings and with diverse communities, cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. I employ a person-centered, strengths-based perspective to the counseling services I provide. I can do this by incorporating an eclectic approach to therapy which includes techniques derived from Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, Reality-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focused, and Solution Focused modalities, among others.
I have worked with children as young as toddlers in socio-emotional learning environments and have provided therapeutic services to children aged 5 and older, teens, adults, and seniors. I have experience in providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy services throughout my career and have worked with those experiencing behavioral issues, addictions, and adjustment, mood, and mental health disorders. I have also worked in crisis services for a large portion of my career.
I am a northeastern transplant due to my husband's military service and love being able to travel and meet others along the way. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering my services as a youth sports coach and supporting service members and their families as well as engaging in fitness activities and the outdoors.
At All Who Wander Counseling and Therapeutic Services it is my goal to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, and safe environment where you can explore your past, examine your present, and build your future in a way that enhances your overall health and wellbeing.
