I am a mindful and compassionate therapist with experience in OCD, trauma, couples, and bipolar disorder.
McKell (she/her) utilizes a collaborative person centered lens to empower her clients to trust their decisions and their abilities through problem solving and solution focused ideology. She uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and theories to guide her conceptualizations and create a safe environment for emotional exploration and behavior change.
McKell graduated Magna Cum Laude from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon with a degree in Psychology. She currently attends the University of Denver, where she is getting a masters degree in Social Work and Social Justice. In her free time, McKell enjoys yoga, reading, rock climbing, and cooking with friends and family.
