About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, trapped, anxious, depressed, and/or stressed about life transitions and/or relationships? You are not alone. Together we can find a way forward by developing the tools to help build confidence, strength, and purpose.

As a therapist, I take a client-centered, genuine, collaborative approach to the client’s needs and goals. I have over 19 years of experience with significant experience helping adult clients (18+) work through anxiety, mood disorders (depression/bipolar disorder), sexual addictions/offenses, trauma, grief/loss, men and women's issues, and general life stressors/transitions (work, relationships, parenting, etc).

I use an integrative therapy style which includes Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Humanistic, Narrative, and Reality/Choice approaches to help clients achieve success. I have certification training in the following areas: neurological talk-based therapy for anxiety, grief and loss, and behavioral techniques for mood disorders. I also provide Christian counseling upon request.

For ease of access I can be found at Rula using the following link: https://www.rula.com/providers/MN/1023290632-matthew-carlson
