About me
As a combat veteran, I believe I am uniquely experienced to provide trauma psychotherapy and have focused my career on treating anxiety and mood disorders.
As a combat veteran of the United States Army, I bring a unique perspective to my work as a licensed psychologist. My military experience has instilled in me a profound understanding of resilience and the human spirit's capacity to overcome adversity. With over ten years of dedicated service in the mental health field, I specialize in trauma-informed practices that prioritize the individual experiences of my clients. I am deeply committed to helping others navigate their journeys toward healing and self-discovery, drawing from both my personal experiences and academic training from Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
I am a firm believer in the principles of humanism and existentialism, which guide my approach to therapy. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their emotions, confront their challenges, and ultimately find meaning in their experiences. My mission is to help others unlock their potential and foster personal growth, regardless of the obstacles they face. I am passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and promoting a culture of understanding and support, both in my practice and within the broader community. Let’s connect and explore how we can collaborate to make a positive impact in your life.
