About me
As someone who has been frustrated with accessing mental health services, I make scheduling and payment as easy as possible--and, I take most forms of insurance, which often means little to no co-pay!
I received my training through the University of Minnesota's highly ranked program, and I use a trauma-informed lens to help clients in areas such as separation/divorce, sexuality, and navigating difficult decisions. My background in religious studies helps me in working individuals who recovering from religious trauma and/or interested in exploring the deeper questions of life and purpose to resolve anxiety and depression. My background as a former teacher and coach means that students and younger individuals often enjoy my down-to-earth approach.
I have special training in helping individuals overcoming digital addiction, living with chronic pain, and new parents struggling with postpartum mental health (both mothers and fathers).
I also have experience working with individuals diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and a range of other diagnoses. I have specialized experience working with men in areas like separation/divorce, fatherhood, and work challenges. Reach out to me by phone to learn more about my practice and have a free 15-minute phone consultation!
