About me
I am a licensed therapist in the UK with over 5 years of professional work experience. I work with people who bring a range of different needs, from relationship & communication difficulties, family or work related issues, loss and bereavement to anxiety, depression and childhood trauma. Whatever is troubling you, counselling therapy can help you to understand yourself better by developing self-awareness, self -esteem, self - confidence and coping strategies.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I am passionate about what I do and feel strongly that although therapy can be emotionally challenging at times, it can also be inspiring and a life changing experience.
I incorporate a variety of theories into my counselling work these include: Holistic & Psychodynamic approach; I believe that psychological problems result from the present day are the influence of unconscious mind or motivations stemming from past relationships and experiences.
I really hope my profile has encouraged you to begin your therapy and I very much look forward to hearing from you.
