About me
I'm a therapist who specializes in chronic illness counseling and trauma/attachment related wounds. I have experience in helping clients navigate life with a chronic illness such as POTS, EDS, and other hidden disabilities.
Navigating life with hidden wounds can be isolating. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just sick of trying to keep it all together. I work with survivors of childhood abuse/emotional neglect, clients navigating chronic illness, and depression. As a fellow adoptee, I have lived experience with adoption and work with families and other adoptees to build secure attachment. I also provide therapy for individuals who are living with the impacts of a hidden disability such as POTS, EDS, and fibromyalgia.
I use an integrated approach that combines practical coping tools with acceptance and committment therapy, attachment related therapy, and CBT. I use a trauma-informed lens and focus on creating a safe space where clients can feel understood, as I believe everyone is capable of healing. I work with clients to process past experiences, build coping skills, and navigate life changes. I offer a space where it's okay to not be okay while we work together to make long-term changes to fit your needs.
