I have been a licensed therapist for 11 years. Prior to that I worked for Children’s Protective Services for 25 years, and prior to that I worked in psychiatric hospitals with adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. I specialize in supporting adults, families, and teens navigating complex emotional issues and relationships . My practice centers on helping clients develop self-compassion, improve communication skills, and work through challenging feelings of guilt and shame. I also work to help the younger generation be empowered and confident. I have worked with adults in both psychiatric hospitals and residential programs. My main passion is with teens who have mental health challenges as well as behavioral issues. Most of my career has been working with at risk youth in their homes and in their communities. I also have a background working as a children’s protective services investigator for over 2 decades and can assist in navigating through that process.

My therapeutic approach focuses on creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner experiences and develop healthier emotional patterns. I draw from evidence-based practices to help individuals build self-esteem, manage stress and anxiety, and learn strategies for personal healing and transformation.

Through collaborative and empathetic therapy , I aim to empower clients to reconnect with their inherent worth, practice self-forgiveness, and develop more meaningful and authentic relationships with themselves and others. My goal is to walk alongside you as you discover your inner strength and create positive, lasting change in your life.
