About me
I work with individual adult clients across all life stages and dimensions, specializing in grief and loss, ADHD, trauma, anxiety/depression and life transitions. My approach is eclectic, intuitive and practical, tailored to each client’s unique needs and drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic work, with trauma-informed, psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives. My expertise in leadership development and ADHD coaching are integrated where appropriate. I am available for remote sessions.
As a client-centered practitioner, rather than imposing specific models or techniques, I collaborate with you to discover unique approaches that resonate, listening deeply with empathy, warmth and compassion.
I found my calling as a psychotherapist at the intersection between vocation, (what we do), and our sense of self (who we are) over more than 25 years working as a leadership coach and senior executive in organizational development, human resources and operations for corporations and nonprofits. Working across a wide variety of industries, including health care, professional services, tech, consumer products, luxury goods, and higher education, I built teams, collaborated with people at all levels, with a focus on helping others identify and realize their full potential.
Our troubles, while painful, offer us opportunities to uncover and heal past traumas that affect our perceptions and behaviors in the present. In this way, transforming our suffering becomes a spiritual act — one that can bring both insight and freedom. I trust in your spirit’s power to heal—to transcend your suffering by discovering its meaning and purpose in your life.
My work, past and present, affirms my commitment to hold a safe space for you to discover, accept and express your authentic self and realize your full potential, and above all else, to find moments of peace and calm in a turbulent world. As Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh affirmed, “The way out is in.” I invite you to partner with me in finding your way through and beyond the things you feel, fear, avoid, or that cause anxiety, depression, stress, grief, frustration or guilt, to discover and embrace your true self, as you are, in the present moment.
If you are considering working with me, please reach out for a complimentary phone consultation to learn how you and I can walk together on your journey home to yourself.
