Mary Resnick, Ph.D

I have a Doctorate in Psychology and have been working as a therapist for over 30 years. My work is with people who deal with Stress, Anxiety, and Depression and I help them see there is a better way to live.

During past 32 + years I have worked in the mental health field with individuals seeking answers to their emotional pain. The therapeutic approaches used in my practice are Mindfulness-Based , Psychodynamic, Emotional Focused Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Life Coaching, Grief Therapy as well as other modalities. Because the journey people take is not always the same treatment needs to be individualized and various approaches are used to help arrive at the desired goal.
As we travel together to find the answers we will explore various modalities together. Through therapy you can learn to figure out and solve your own puzzle by asking yourself the right questions and making the best choices for you. You will learn how to ground yourself in times of stress and anxiety.
Helping clients find a brighter picture to wake up to is one of the goals of the therapeutic journey.
When you wake up each morning feeling like the day will be a repeat of the previous one may indicate a pattern has been set. .Learning how to change one's mindset is a primary goal of our treatment which will result in a healthier you. We will help you look at options, choices , and where your stuck.
