About me
My name is Mary Newbauer, I am recently retired after 28 years of providing service to patients and families at the end of life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin. I received my masters degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999. After all these years it is still my wish to provide comfort through counseling to those who hurt, not only from the death of a loved one, but also loss through divorce, ending of a significant relationship, even our own aging process.
I work with individuals who are going through life transitions. My counseling practice provides a confidential, empathetic space to navigate difficult and painful times, assisting clients in adapting to those changes and eventually creating new life. The counseling techniques I practice most are : Solution focused, Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Mindfulness. I also embrace experience and wisdom. If you believe I can be helpful, I am honored to assist you with supportive presence, active listening and my years of experience and wisdom.
