About me
I am an experienced licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma in people of all ages. I enjoy being authentic, building genuine rapport with my clients, and being with them through their lives as they need support. I enjoy seeing all ages from 3 to 100 years old (or older if need be!). We also care about seeing all types of clients and provide services under most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.
We address trauma, ADHD, autism level 1, depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, OCD. Our key modalities include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and play therapy. We like to treat the whole family holistically if possible, helping kids, parents, siblings to process issues that are causing problems. Our approach is hands on including play therapy modalities such as sand tray, make believe, games, dress-up, puzzles, books, and more. Adults can choose from talk therapy, or more exploratory interventions helping to intervene in the points of childhood they experienced traumas with precision and flexibility. We go in the direction our clients need to go, with gentle guidance and help reaching goals.
