About me
Hi! I am a very experienced therapist, practicing since 1992. I specialize in using EMDR with people who struggle with perfectionism, difficulties in relationships, negative thinking and critical voices. They might be struggling with getting triggered easily feel reactive either going into fight or flight, or the opposite: feeling withdrawn and in a freeze state.
I am a warm interactive therapist, and I try to create a safe environment so you can explore and be curious about your own experience. I have done a lot of training in different aspects of ways to use EMDR and I think outside the box. I also have training in the fields of neurobiology and attachment, which will help you to understand why you react to people and situations in the way you do now. I use Mindfulness to help you learn to be more in the present moment vs spending emotional time dwelling on negative aspects of past or future. EMDR will help you to “clear” trauma and to have important shifts in your perspective.
My experience allows me to be intuitive which can help you to get to issues more quickly. I look forward to meeting you!
