Working in community mental health since 2016, I've learned that change doesn't come from a manual, or from me, but from you. Maybe you are someone who feels they've lost the thread of their life story, or is plagued by anxiety, a necessary adaptation to the world, but also a thief of life if not comprehended & taken in hand. Perhaps you are a creative person who is stuck in an arid place, or someone managing a difficult transition in life, with health problems. Or it has come to pass that your relationships are not what you wish, & you're vexed in your relationship with yourself as well...
In midlife, I uncovered a passion for helping you bridge the gap between who you wish to be in the world & where you find yourself now. I can walk with you awhile & help you address & maybe co-exist more peacefully with trauma, or loss & regret, or work your way way through a situation in which you don't like any of your choices...
It's not uncommon for us to find that substances have shouldered out other things we value, or we're still attempting to find or sustain intimacy, bringing all our old shortcomings along. In fact, the change we seek begins where we are now, if not to solve our problems, perhaps, as Jung said, to grow bigger than our problems. Let's begin.
