Experienced Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with experience in mental health and Traumatic Brain Injury!
I am certified alcohol and drug counselor , focused on helping those struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders build fulfilling and healthy lifestyles. I take a person-centered approach, utilizing the strengths of each patient to build coping skills to help face all life's challenges. My main focus is being an advocate for all of the client's I encounter and making sure they have a personalized approach that will work for them. I am certified alcohol and drug counselor intern, focused on helping those struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders build fulfilling and healthy lifestyles. I have been working in the field for over 4 years. I have been able to bring a specialized approach into the field, focusing on the brain’s impact in substance abuse and its ability to regenerate and heal itself despite damage done through continued substance abuse. I have experience working in counseling, group therapy, case management, etc.
