About me
I am a licensed counselor/therapist with a speciality in EMDR, trauma, and anxiety. For adults and teens.
What is my style? Think Collaboration and Guidance with an open mind. A focus on your needs and goals while honoring your style, limits, and very own pace. We start where you are in your life! I offer comfy couch conversation or, if you choose, options like EMDR which is a great tools for processing memories without needing to tell the story. Some people also like to try art, sandtray, or visualization that allow us to see from a different perspective with potential for hands-on fun and grounding. Now a little about my experience: I have a background in maternity care, midwifery, and body work. I worked for Logan Health as mental health counselor in 3 local high schools. My background taught me about the body's language so in my practice, you can also learn to be more attuned with somatic (body based ) experiences. Call me!
