About me
I am a licensed professional counselor - mental health service provider that holds Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS) certification.
I have over 20 years of experience teaching children and teens with emotional and behavioral disorders in the public school system. In 2022, I began my counseling career as an adolescent alcohol and drug intensive outpatient therapist. Currently, I am a full-time Safe Schools Counselor.
My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore difficulties while providing my clients tools, support and the accountability they need to move forward in their personal growth. I believe clients are seeking practical strategies and emotional insight, because they know healing is both an emotional and a behavioral journey. Ultimately, we all want to live with more ease, connection, and purpose.
I provide playful, developmentally-attuned therapy for children, helping them express big emotions, build self-regulation skills, and heal; a supportive space for teens, navigating the complexities of self-worth, anxiety, peer dynamics, and family; parental guidance and coaching to address their child’s needs and empowerment-based therapy for women and men.
