About me
I am a well-seasoned clinical psychologist specializing in help for anxiety, women with ADHD, and trauma/PTSD.
Hello! I’m Dr. Marian Camden, a well-experienced licensed psychologist serving adults in Colorado and all U.S. states participating in Pscypact (currently 42 states and more coming). I offer over 25 years of experience and professional skill-building, along with genuine caring for each of my clients, and a bit of humor here and there. Relationship is everything to me, both on the job and off.
I work primarily with high-functioning adults, many of whom are therapists themselves. You are probably someone who seems fine on the outside but struggles with private issues like high sensitivity, anxiety, self-doubt, low self-esteem, past pain, trauma, or relationship challenges. You might feel overwhelmed by daily stress or want to build more confidence and assertiveness in your relationships.
I approach therapy with kindness and practicality. Our work together begins with creating a warm, respectful, and trusting relationship. I’m always excited to get to know new people in a caring and supportive way. As you share what’s troubling you, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan just for you.
Along with traditional talk therapy, I offer a range of other methods, including EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and various mind-body techniques. These tools come from years of training and experience, and I’ll use them to help you feel more confident, clear about your life’s direction, and better equipped to manage relationships and life challenges.
