About me
I am a Latina Licensed Associate Counselor passionate and dedicated to helping my clients work through the inevitable complexities of life and our human nature. I work with my clients to process current challenges and identifying realistic goals that align with the individual's values and the change they want to see and feel in their lives. Therapy is a journey and I am here to create a safe space for you, and help you foster self-care and compassionate practices.
My experience includes behavioral and mental health support with various populations to enhance the wellbeing of individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty with life transitions or changes, emotion regulation, stress, individuals with PTSD, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and youth with behavioral challenges.
As we navigate through your unique therapeutic journey, I use a blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, and self-compassion. I believe that the foundation for a meaningful therapeutic process is collaboration and authenticity.
