About me
I provide warm, practical, and compassionate therapy for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, pregnancy and postpartum changes, parenting stress, NICU experiences, and major life transitions.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you have been trying to manage everything on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, talk openly about what is happening, and work together on changes that feel realistic for your life.
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides therapy in English and Spanish to children, teens, and adults across Texas. I have many years of experience supporting children and families and have specialized training in perinatal and infant mental health. I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) and endorsed in Infant Mental Health.
I work with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, ADHD, emotional exhaustion, pregnancy or postpartum changes, perimenopause, parenting stress, NICU-related experiences, or other significant life transitions. I also work with children and teens who may struggle with attention, organization, impulsivity, emotional regulation, anxiety, or big emotions—with or without a formal ADHD diagnosis.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also incorporating attachment-focused and trauma-informed care. Rather than using the same approach with everyone, I tailor therapy to your needs, strengths, age, and goals.
For children and teens, I also believe it is important to understand what may be underneath a behavior rather than simply trying to stop the behavior. We can work on emotional regulation, executive functioning, coping skills, communication, confidence, and strategies that can be used at home and at school.
For parents and caregivers, therapy can also be a place to talk about the parts of parenting that are difficult to say out loud—the exhaustion, worry, guilt, uncertainty, or feeling that you should somehow be handling everything better. My background in infant mental health and child development allows me to support both the emotional wellbeing of the parent and the relationship between parent and child.
You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with what is happening right now, identify what you would like to feel or handle differently, and build a plan together.
I offer virtual therapy throughout Texas in both English and Spanish.
