I offer you a safe space to address mental health issues related to sexual health and relational trauma using a posttraumatic growth approach in my interventions. I have training in strategic intervention coaching and I am a qualified supervisor for interns and therapists. I provide services in English and Spanish language. I am a Latina woman who emigrated to the US from Cuba at the age of 30, and I experienced the process of acculturation. I have cultural sensitivity and competence to deal with issues experienced by minorities. For many years, I have maintained a parallel path as a mental health clinician in private practice and working in public health has given me multicultural competence to work with people of diverse ethnicities and lifestyles. Currently, I offer services via telehealth only with a focus on adult individual clients. I provide an initial, 30-minute, free consultation. Clients should complete a screening and sign the therapeutic contract prior to or during our first visit. I would like to ask for an initial commitment of a visit each week. The treatment plan is created in a collaboration between the client and the clinician. I help clients discover how they can create more balanced lives that include sexual pleasure and sexual safety as well as healthy and fulfilling relationships. Occasionally, I recommend some homework in between sessions. I have an eclectic theoretical orientation but I offer a client-centered practice.
