About me
Dr. Flores has had over a decade of experience in clinical psychology as a trauma, grief and anxiety expert with an education background at world renowned facilities such as Yale University, the Institute of Living, and VA Facilities across the country.
Intentional Wellness Therapy is an open and non-judgmental space for reflective exploration, curiosity and creating effective change. Dr. Flores specializes in trauma recovery, grief processing, self-esteem repair & anxiety reduction (panic attacks, phobia, OCD, general anxiety, over-thinking and stress). She offers change-oriented Psychotherapy and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) - both of these services are offered through Telehealth; KAP is also offered as a combo in-person & remote if preferred.
Treatment uses an Integrative approach of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Experiencing based interventions to identify, process, and release underlying blocks to your desired goals as well as build new patterns to support fulfilling and values aligned living.
Treatment includes an initial intake appointment, collaborative treatment plan & goals, recurring assessment outcomes to inform treatment effectiveness, and access to regular recurring follow up appointments (schedule as soon as next week).
