About me
My name is Marcela, I was born and raised in Mexico City and have been living in Boston for the last 25 years , I'm very comfortable in English and Spanish. I studied the career twice. My approach to therapy is co-constructivist, collaborative, strength based and solution oriented. I believe you are the expert in your story and I'm here to walk with you and offer you companionship and guidance as needed. Altogether, I have over twenty years of experience, 3 of them in Massachusetts. I believe in teletherapy! Telehealth is real, in many ways, is more efficient than doing it face to face. Think of me as a family PCP, I'm a generalist. I feel hopeful and competent around people and families dealing with addiction. I believe we are still learning about gender and sexual orientation. I've worked with many people who struggled with food issues and obesity and have found relief following the model of addiction. If you are looking for help among us, I already believe in you! You are the kind of people that get the help they need and get better. Looking forward to meeting you.
