About me
Hi! I am Dr. Malissa Collins a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
My focus is to help clients learn why they are stuck and how to become unstuck through conceptualizing how current unproductive thought patterns impact productive living and learning how to regulate emotional distress. My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Using a holistic approach allows all aspects of your wellness to be addressed and to empower you to be the best version of you and thriving instead of surving!
As I've mentioned in my intro, my approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Using a holistic approach allows all aspects of your wellness to be addressed and to empower you to be the best version of you and thriving instead of surving! I see clients Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays. My hours are typically 11:30 am-6:00 pm. My PhD is in Marriage and Family Therapy so relationship therapy is my area of expertise.
