About me
Welcome to my profile! I'm delighted that you've found your way here.
As a collaborative and non-judgmental counsellor, my aim is to create a safe space where you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Rather than trying to fix your problems or dictate your actions, I am here to offer empathy and understanding. Together, we will delve into your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours, allowing us to gain valuable insights and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs. This exploration may involve tapping into your inner resources and intuition, enabling us to find clarity as a solid foundation for personal growth. I may also gently challenge certain patterns or habits that I notice, always approaching it with empathy and care. Occasionally, I might suggest creative exercises to complement our sessions and support your progress.
My name is Malgorzata, I am a licensed therapist in the UK with seven years of professional experience. My expertise lies in helping clients navigate various challenges, including addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and depression. Together, we will create an open and safe environment where you can freely share your thoughts and emotions without the fear of judgment.
To further enhance my skills, I hold a PG Diploma in Counselling Skills (Person-Centred) which is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Additionally, I have pursued extensive training in diverse areas such as Life coaching, Recall Healing, online and Telephone Counselling, Group facilitation, Art therapy, Jungian Sand-play Therapy, and more.
Throughout my career, I have supported individuals dealing with a wide range of issues. I have provided assistance to survivors of sexual abuse, including those involved in court cases. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of working with art students and facilitating groups at different charities e.g supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. I also taught on both the Introduction to Counselling Skills and Certificate in Counselling Skills courses in the past.
Taking the first step towards seeking a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage, and I'm here to support you throughout this process. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you, assisting you on your journey of self-discovery and growth.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Malgorzata
