About me
I am an experienced and registered Professional Associate Counselor, dedicated to helping my clients work through difficult and complex issues.
My work is creative, integrative and mindful. I believe change and healing develop best withinin the bounds of a safe, healthy trusted and therapeutic relationship. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am also a Therapeutic Art practitioner. Theoretically I am person based, and somewhat eclectic. Talk therapy can include Object Relations, Gestalt and other Psychodynamic theories including Jung. Beyond talk therapy we sometimes do chair exercises from Gestalt, therapeutic Art sessions, and some Dreamwork based on Carl Jung. I like to meet my clients where they are, and address what is important to them. We look at values and scope out what values resonate with you and together we build a plan which will give you plenty opportunities to grow. My work style is direct and collaborative.
