About me
Dedicated Texas therapist supporting caregivers (including those navigating dementia, chronic illness, disabilities, and family challenges) and health professionals with burnout, grief, anxiety, depression, and self-care through virtual therapy.
Caring for someone with dementia, chronic illness, disability, or age-related decline can slowly take over your life. Many caregivers carry exhaustion, grief, guilt, and anxiety long before they realize how depleted they feel. You may love the person you care for deeply, yet still feel overwhelmed, isolated, or emotionally worn down. These reactions are common, and they deserve care and attention.
I’m Madison Berry, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I have over seven years of experience working in senior living and dementia care, supporting individuals and families through complex health and aging-related transitions. This work has shaped my understanding of the emotional realities caregivers face, both during active caregiving and as roles and relationships change.
My practice focuses on supporting caregivers, family members, and individuals navigating the emotional impact of illness, aging, and loss. I also work with health care professionals experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue. In therapy, we create space to talk honestly about what you are carrying without judgment or pressure to “stay strong.”
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from evidence-based methods including CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based care. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, process grief and ambiguous loss, manage anxiety or depression, set healthier boundaries, and help you feel more steady and supported in your role.
Therapy with me is a place to slow down, be heard, and reconnect with yourself while caring for others. Sessions are offered virtually to clients anywhere in Texas.
If you’re considering therapy, I welcome you to reach out for a free brief consultation.
