About me

Dedicated Texas therapist supporting caregivers (including those navigating dementia, chronic illness, disabilities, and family challenges) and health professionals with burnout, grief, anxiety, depression, and self-care through virtual therapy.

As a caregiver—whether you're supporting a loved one with dementia or memory impairment, chronic illness, disabilities, aging-related challenges, or any long-term health condition—you've poured endless love and energy into this role. Along the way, you may have put your own needs last, facing exhaustion, isolation, guilt, complicated grief, anxiety about the future, or depression that builds quietly. If you're a health care professional working in senior living, hospitals, or similar settings, you might also be experiencing burnout from the emotional weight of your work. It's okay to feel overwhelmed; caregiving in any form is one of the hardest roles there is, and you deserve support too.

I'm Madison Berry, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, with over seven years of hands-on experience in senior living and dementia care. I've walked alongside hundreds of families and professionals, deeply understanding the emotional toll of caregiving across many contexts.

My practice is dedicated to caregivers of all kinds, their family members, individuals facing life transitions related to health and aging, and health care professionals experiencing burnout. I also support those dealing with general anxiety, depression, or relational challenges. Through secure virtual therapy (available anywhere in Texas), I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can process your feelings, rebuild resilience, and rediscover balance.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical, drawing from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and strengths-based techniques to help you:

- Manage caregiver stress and prevent or recover from burnout
- Navigate grief, ambiguous loss, guilt, and complicated family dynamics
- Develop coping tools for anxiety, depression, and emotional exhaustion
- Set healthy boundaries and prioritize self-care without guilt
- Build confidence for future transitions and decisions

Whether you're caring for a parent with dementia, a spouse with chronic illness, a child with disabilities, an aging loved one, or you're a professional in the field needing your own support, therapy with me is about empowering you to feel stronger, less alone, and more hopeful. Many clients say they finally have a place to breathe and be truly heard.

If you're ready to invest in your own well-being, reach out for a free brief consultation. You don't have to carry this alone.
