About me
My clinical skills include experience with children, families and individuals with cooccurring disorders. I am certified in childhood trauma and specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have recently narrowed my clinical scope to working with adults struggling with addiction, mental health and helping individuals adjust to life's changes.
My educational background includes a Master in Social Work Degree from the University of Saint Josephs specializing in the Latino Community. I also hold a child trauma certification from the University of Saint Josephs and a bachelors degree in Human Services from Springfield College. I worked for the Department of Children and Families for the state of Connecticut and have recently switched my focus to helping individuals who struggle with addiction and mental health. I am trained in and currently practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My professional and personal life experiences have helped me understand the power in our thought process and it's influence on our desired end results. I am that person who can listen with no judgments.
