About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker offering therapy grounded in compassion, clinical expertise, and steady presence, honoring your lived experience and supporting you through anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, with care that helps you feel more at ease, clear, and connected.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood. I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to my work and approach therapy with authenticity, kindness, and deep respect for you as the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of what feels hard, build insight, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor with more than 30 years in practice, with a particular focus on outdoor and adventure-informed mental health services. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, and I am certified in SPACE and a Master of Business Administration, which informs both my clinical work and my commitment to ethical, accessible, high-quality care.

I’m the owner and clinical director of Blue Dot Psychotherapy PLLC in Batavia and the director of Adventure Works in DeKalb, group practices grounded in thoughtful, relationship-centered therapy. I work collaboratively with the other clinicians in my practices through regular consultation and shared clinical dialogue, ensuring your care is well supported while always honoring your privacy and the therapeutic relationship.

Outside of my professional work, I find grounding and renewal through time with family and friends, being in nature, and traveling—experiences that continue to shape how I listen, connect, and show up in the therapy space.
