About me
At Healing Hearts | Empowering Minds, we deliver trauma-informed, holistic mental health care for individuals and families navigating complex personal, medical, educational, and workplace systems. We understand that healing does not happen in isolation—it is shaped by relationships, environments, and access to support. Our clinicians work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that restore stability, build resilience, and empower meaningful progress at home, at school, and in the community.
At Healing Hearts | Empowering Minds, our clinicians provide trauma-informed, holistic mental health care for children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating life’s most complex challenges. Our work is grounded in the understanding that emotional health is shaped not only by internal experiences, but also by relationships, medical conditions, educational systems, workplace stressors, and broader social contexts.
At our practice, we take time to partner with the systems impacting your life and to help you advocate as needed. We collaborate with schools, medical providers, and workplaces when appropriate, and we prioritize educating clients about their options—whether that involves FMLA or ADA protections, Section 504 Plans or IEPs, college accommodations, or navigating workplace concerns as an adult or student. This systems-aware approach allows clients to make informed choices and pursue care that truly supports their functioning and well-being.
As Clinical Director, I bring over a decade of experience in school-based mental health, special education systems, crisis intervention, and family advocacy. I have extensive expertise in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, neurodiversity, relationship concerns, and the impacts of discrimination and marginalization. Our team shares a commitment to culturally responsive care, ethical advocacy, and collaborative treatment that honors each client’s lived experience.
We take time to truly understand your story—what you have endured, what you are navigating now, and what safety and stability look like for you moving forward. Treatment is always individualized and collaborative, with thoughtful attention to strengthening coping skills, restoring nervous-system regulation, repairing relationships, and helping clients function successfully at home, at school, at work, and in their communities.
Healing Hearts | Empowering Minds is more than a therapy practice—it is a place where clients are respected, believed, and supported in reclaiming their voice, agency, and sense of possibility.
