About me

I am a therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people of all ages overcome their challenges and build on their strengths.

I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and I believe every person has unique resources within them that can be uncovered and nurtured. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-focused. I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” method. Instead, I take the time to really listen and understand you—your story, your struggles, and your goals—so we can create a plan that feels right for you. I draw from a range of evidence-based and creative approaches, including:
Brainspotting – to help process and release trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain at a deep level.
Art Therapy – to access feelings and insights that words alone can’t always reach.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to help you identify and shift unhelpful patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
The Nurtured Heart Approach – to build stronger connections and improve relationships, especially with children and adolescents.
Psychodynamic Therapy – to explore the deeper roots of challenges and support lasting change.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or a major life transition, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and supported. My clients often share that they begin to feel real relief and hope within just a few weeks—even those who have been carrying intense or long-standing challenges.
Therapy with me is not about labeling or “fixing” you—it’s about helping you connect to your strengths, gain new tools, and feel more in control of your life. Sometimes we’ll go deep into the heart of an issue, other times we’ll focus on practical steps you can take right away. You set the pace, and I’m here to walk beside you.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, I encourage you to take that first step. You don’t have to go through this alone. Together, we can work toward the change you’re looking for—whether that’s more peace, more confidence, healthier relationships, or simply a life that feels more like your own.
