About me
I am a trauma-trained counselor specializing in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), working with children, adolescents, and adults. I support clients in processing unresolved experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, and building skills to feel more grounded and in control.
If your mind and body feel stuck in survival mode, you may notice anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or shutting down in ways that feel hard to control. You might find yourself overthinking, reacting intensely, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. I specialize in working with teens and adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, and dissociation. Many of my clients feel stuck between wanting to move forward and feeling held back by past experiences, intense emotions, or patterns they don’t fully understand.
My approach goes beyond just talking. I use EMDR, parts work (IFS-informed), and DBT skills to help you process trauma, understand different parts of yourself, and learn how to regulate emotions in a way that actually feels doable. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, build a sense of safety in your body, and help you feel more present and in control.
If you’ve been carrying experiences that still feel heavy, therapy can help you begin to release that weight. Together, we’ll work through what’s unresolved and support you in reconnecting with yourself. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out.
