An experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience in helping Central Florida. I am bilingual and have specialties in trauma, severe and persistent mental illness and specialized approaches.

Broaden Counseling & Consulting, LLC was made to be a tool to help people get from where they are to where they want to be. This virtual practice offers EAP sessions with most insurance companies and a wide arrange of coverage options. Founded in the end of 2021, the company has since grown from an idea into a resource that has helped clients get to where they would like to be.

Lorie is a LMHC in the state of Florida. She holds the additional accreditations of Certified Telehealth Practitioner (CTP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTTP), Qualified Supervisor (QS) and Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor (CBHCM-S). Lorie has been working in the Central Florida area since 2012. She currently holds a Masters Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, a Post Baccalaureate in Mental Health Counseling and a Post Baccalaureate in Addiction Counseling. She was awarded a Governor’s medal for her work within the community in 2016. At this time she is a WRAP Around Trainer, CLIA trainer and was appointed an Honorary Clinical Instructor at Walden University. She works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive telehealth atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
