About me
I am a clinical social worker specializing in helping people of all ages deal with anxiety, depression and anger.
I am honored to be one of the newest members of the Tranquil Lotus Collaborative. Having grown up in northeastern Nebraska, it means a lot to me to be able to serve people in this region.
I bring over a decade of experience working with those affected by domestic violence and other traumas. I have also helped people cope with other challenges including serious illnesses and disabilities. I have built on a Cognitive Behavioral foundation with extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Behavioral Tech Institute. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems principles to help people deal with their trauma. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy also inform my individual therapy as well as the Dialectical Behavior Therapy group(s) being formed.
