About me
I am an experienced occupational therapist with experience working with people to help overcome any mental health challenge(s) they have to achieve their goals, improve their independence, and overall wellbeing so they can live their best life!
I have been a practicing occupational therapist for 14 years, primarily working with adults.
I strongly believe in the power of occupational therapy to promote independence, self-confidence, self-love, and overall well-being. My approach focuses on understanding each person’s unique experiences, needs, and aspirations to provide the best possible care.
It is a collaborative effort, with the individuals I work with, to identify their strengths and challenges. Interventions are tailored to each person to help them build skills, develop strategies, and navigate the complexities of their daily life. Whether it's managing ADLs (activities of daily living), enhancing mental and emotional resilience, guidance moving through life changes, managing social connections, and/or improving quality of life - I provide the tools and support necessary for meaningful, positive change.
Through compassionate, safe, non-judgmental, and person-centered care, I empower my clients to regain control over their lives, cultivate their abilities, and achieve personal goals; all while fostering a sense of purpose, dignity, and fulfillment so they shine forward.
