About me
Hi! I'm Lois, a licensed therapist with a passion for helping people feel better so they can live more fulfilling lives. I’m here to help you find clarity, confidence and direction.
I truly believe that people and relationships can recover, grow, and thrive through therapy. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way and create meaningful changes that last. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on your specific needs. My approach is always collaborative and focused on introspection and skill building. I use a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness.
I have worked in the field of mental health for 14 years, it has always been my passion. I have been a licensed therapist for 5 years. I have experience working with a variety of people and issues in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with severe and persistent mental health disorders, but my current focuses are relationship and family issues, life stressors (like work, school and finances), depression and anxiety.
I am licensed in NC. I currently work with individuals and couples, adults only.
