About me
I have been in practice for 20 years, and am the owner of Heart of Texas Therapy Services. While I work with many individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, I specialize in treating and helping people get free from obsessions and compulsions (OCD). I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) for the treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, social anxiety and phobias. I also have specific experience working with those who are recovering from brain injury.
I am solutions-focused; we will establish goals for our time together, and will revisit these throughout treatment as you make progress. In addition to my Master of Social Work, I hold a Master of Arts in Theology; for those who are interested, I practice faith-integrated psychotherapy.
