About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults and families in coping with a variety of concerns including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment.
After years of working in a variety of setting as a mental health provider, I have learned that my strengths lay in the ability to meet individuals where they are. From there, through a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, I am able to offer individuals insights into their thoughts, emotions and behaviors from a perspective which allows them to grow. Building a trusting relationship with your therapist is the key to supporting individuals who are seeking support at any point in their lives. Using a Person-Centered approach along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in therapy sessions, I am able to support the foundational coping skills individuals need to help them through difficult times in their lives. I continue to provide an open and safe space for individuals in sessions while they integrate new skills into their daily lives.
My work with individuals is guided by the need they identify therefore duration of treatment will vary on a case by case basis. If you are looking for a few sessions, I am open to this work as well as taking the time to provide more long term supportive counseling services.
