About me

Hello, I am a warm, curious, interactive, and compassionate psychotherapist who is experienced working with adolescents and adults.

I have heard too many times from clients that their previous therapist didnt go "deep" enough, ask thought-evoking questions, or be curious or interactive enough. If you are looking for a short-term solution-focused therapist, that is not my area of expertise. Throughout my career, I have focused on getting to the core issue--because without this, I have found that healing doesn't occur. With an effective therapist and a motivated/aware client, surprisingly, progress can happen more quickly than one would think.

In addition, it's the quality of the therapeutic relationship (alliance) that facilitates growth and change. I pride myself on being warm, highly empathetic, naturally curious and a skilled Psychotherapist. In addition, I track the client's progress and growth and directly address barriers to progress when they arise.

I consider myself a Trauma-Informed therapist–we all have had traumatic events in our lives that can create patterns that are negatively impactful on our emotional, mental and physical health. I create a space that’s safe and supportive, allowing for the exploration and healing of old hurts.

Tuning into our authentic self is the basis for growth. We get messages from early on about what others think we should be and its leads us away from ourselves. I can help you find yourself again and reconnect to your true self.

When life transitions and losses occur, they can throw us off balance in many ways. I can support you through these difficult times and with time, heal, grow and thrive.

HSPs and sensitive people can face an extra burden in relationships (family and romantic) as well as in life stressors. We can discuss ways to manage your emotions, sensory sensitivities and deep processing.

Be open and committed to the process and let’s work together to improve the quality of your life. I will be with you every step of the way. Reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.
