About me
I work with teens and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout and the general overwhelm that can come with everyday life. I have a special interest in supporting educators, first responder families and parents who feel stretched too thin. My goal is to help you better understand how your brain works, develop tools and systems to manage stress and emotions, and help you feel more confident. I am licensed in Illinois and I hold an additional certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
If your mind moves quickly, your to-do list never ends, or you often feel behind no matter how hard you try - you are not alone! As a School Social Worker of 12 years, a wife to a first responder and a mom of 2, I understand the struggles that students and parents face as well as the pressures of adults who are balancing responsibilities, while quietly carrying the mental load. I work with teens and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout and the general overwhelm that can come with everyday life. I have a special interest in supporting educators, first responder families and parents who feel stretched too thin.
My style is calm, warm, collaborative and down-to-earth, with a little humor mixed in. Therapy should feel comfortable, not clinical. I follow a multi-modal approach, pulling from various evidenced-based methods such as CBT, solution focused brief therapy, and strength-based therapy. I hope to create a calm space to help you untangle what feels chaotic.
You deserve an an open, non-judgemental place to share your thoughts and I offer a space where you can show up honestly, think out loud and maybe even laugh a little along the way. My goal is to help you feel calmer, more confident and more equipped to handle what life gives you. Schedule a quick call to see if we are a good fit!
I offer virtual sessions because I believe meaningful work can happen in a relaxed, authentic space - like your own!
