LISA LONG, LCSW-C

I am an experienced social worker dedicated to helping adolescents and adults with their life struggles (i.e. anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, anger).

I knew helping others would be my life calling after receiving a, “Bouquet for the Day,” in the 2nd grade for helping a troubled peer during class. In pursuit of that calling, I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I provided services to adjudicated adults and went on to work with persons suffering from severe mental illness and sexually transmitted diseases before graduating in 2001 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work.



As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), I have been providing psychoeducational and therapeutic services for over 25 years with adolescents and adults. I have experience providing service in the areas of: Anxiety & Stress Management, Attention Deficit Disorders, Depression, Family Abuse, Parenting and Co-Parenting, Separation & Divorce, Military Family Life Skills, Relationship Enhancement, Anger Control, and Behavioral & Oppositional Defiant Disorders. I use an eclectic approach incorporating both cognitive-behavioral and humanistic methods to guide my clients through the therapeutic process.



I am known for being very direct yet empathetic and compassionate in support of my client’s journey.
