About me
I am a 30 year experienced trauma therapist which also encompasses many of the other diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, compulsive behaviors, and many others. I am dedicated in finding solutions.
I have worked in this field of counseling in many setting, i.e., inpatient, outpatient, intensive treatment, and in various focuses, i.e., trauma, working with the military, relationships issues, family of origin issues, personal and work related issues. Also, experienced in crisis work. My clients are adults or older adults. My training and use of EMDR has helped make treatment more focused, faster to see results, as better sense of well being. EMDR works through a philosophy of "what has happened to you" rather than "what is wrong with you" which is problem focused, no focus on blaming, self or otherwise, and much more positive and relieving. I also use hypnosis and talk and analytic treatments for understanding of the issues.
