About me
I am a licensed social worker who loves working with people and is experienced in trauma, as well as helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, and other life stressors.
I am here to meet clients where they are at with comfort and compassion. I offer an empathetic and warm approach, while at the same time working to challenge clients and hold them accountable. I work with people on identifying patterns in behavior, restructuring ways of thinking, developing new ways of coping, and improving overall quality of life.
I have experience working with those who have a history of complex trauma, helping them to create more equilibrium in their lives and regain a sense of peace. Roots of anxiety and depression are often so much deeper than we think. I explore with individuals what’s underneath the surface and [find healing].
I work from an attachment-focused lens, concentrating on how early relationships inform how we relate, and how to build more secure, fulfilling connections as an adult. With the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as traditional talk therapy, I enjoy helping individuals integrate a more adaptive narrative into how they see themselves and the world around them.
