About me
I am a therapist because I believe in therapy and I know it can make all the difference in the world. I use insight-oriented therapy and Internal Family Systems therapy to help you understand yourself and your parts, and heal emotional wounds. I am also trained in EMDR, CBT and DBT.
I have 14 years of experience as a therapist and has learned many modalities over the years. I work with people who struggle with PTSD and chronic PTSD, as well as with depression, anxiety, a personality disorder, dissociative identity disorder, and suicidal ideation. My style is open and caring, starting with building coping skills and then delving further into seeing long term patterns, and healing old wounds that keep those unhealthy patterns in place.
