Have you or your child/adolescent found yourself in a very dark, messy, or hard place in life? Do you feel stuck in that place despite your best efforts to move on? I am here to support you in your journey to find relief from overwhelming emotions and painful memories due to trauma, anxiety, depression suicidal ideation, or self-harm. It's important to me that each person feels safe in their body and environment while also gaining the ability to trust and connect with others. 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who provides individual counseling to children, adolescents, and women. I specialize in trauma, abuse, mood disorders, dissociation, self-esteem, stress, and the need for coping skills.

I see you as a whole person and aim to facilitate coping, a sense of freedom, and meaning in life by providing an integrative and collaborative approach to counseling. With children/adolescents, it's essential to work in partnership with parents, equipping them with education and strategies, to build and enrich healthy relationships.

When counseling from a faith based perspective, I believe that my clients can achieve goals by discovering their identity in Christ and embracing both pain and joy so as to alleviate suffering. Evidence based approaches support the importance of identifying and accepting hurt/pain as a part of life thus allowing for hope and an experience of joy.
